Just a reminder, if you or a friend have a 3d printer, 3d stl files are available in the manuals section! Our OEM hood ornament replacement, headlight lenses for c series and 78 79 fiberglass hoods, the gt14 dash and console plates, and D series dash plates are all there!

Must be a RedSquare supporter to download, but it is a thank you to all of you on RS that helped develop replacements to keep the tractors equipped and helped to grow our business.

Gt 14 dash is out baking in the front deck.

So far I am pleased with the results. Good finishes with very minor geometry ghosting, text is adhering very well. The text is slightly over extruded, but with text and lines that small the nozzle diameter is the limiting factor.

This first Gt14 set will go to @cafoose for testing and fitment checks and the first D series set will be launched out to @BMW1 for fitment and testing. Thank you guys for being patient and providing samples for modeling!

D upper dash! Here you can see the pattern ghosting and the slight over extrusion of the text, but over all I'm calling it good!

Working on developing a relationship with a young local woodworker. I can do wood work, but the 'ol hands aren't as capable as they once were. Hopefully we can come up with some wood items, like laser etched or cnc carved Wheel Horse themed stuff! Any ideas to start out?

While we're pondering on WheelHorse themed stuff, Cash, the young fella we're trying to support in his woodworking endeavors, is working on my military themed ammo crate bar.

@BMW1was kind enough to send us a D series dash housing for us to fine tune the D dashes with, so hopefully we can have that done here in the next week or 2.

Modifications to D dash, fiddle with some hole spacing, and add a little tab to the underside to cover the gap, and merge the light bezel into the right half.

Finally got around to dressing up the new ammo crate bar! Items from the Wilfong family service members as well as collected items from WW2 through Vietnam. A small section of my own stuff, and I'll keep adding items as I locate them:)

@Wheel Horse 3D I've been thinking about getting a 3d printer for a while.  Originally thought a Prussia would be right.  Then the local high school where I mentor the robot team got a couple couple Bambu X1 printers.  Impressive machines, but not quite student proof.  This year, they got several Bambu A1 printers.  These have not been in operation long enough to see how they stand up to scholastic use.

Cost is coming down, the Bambus come assembeled and seem pretty good as a plug and play device.  The A1 is in the $500 range with 4 color capability.  Looks appealing.

You got any comments about the Bambu printers as a first printer?

Mine is a Bambu x1 carbon with 4 color AMS.

I ran this printer for almost 5000 hours befor replacing the extruder gear. Only other thing I replaced was one nozzle and the short filament sections in the AMS which get worn due to the tight bends in there.

Printing in this machine has just simply been hassle free.

It runs pretty much flawlessly with stock settings and most filaments.

Reviews of the P1P and A1 put them pretty close as to performance, but I can only speak confidently as to the X1C.

Previously I ran ender 3 and ender3 max machines, but the speed, consistency, and hassle free nature of the x1c has rendered them obsolete for my purposes.

I also run a QIDI x max 3. I find the extra build area handy and it so far has run similar to the Bambu in quality and speed

I’m building a lowered 300 series wheelhorse. So far it’s a combination of 3 scrap tractors.
the frame, trans and tins are from a GT2500 anniversary special given to me by a neighbor with a trashed Briggs. The Kohler M12 is from a junkyard 312 that was roached. The parts tractor I’m using for the build was another older 312. I’ve got the k301 in the garage. The trans was toast. Both axles wallowed out keyways and 1 axle actually broken.
Anyway! I needed a project and a toy to putt around the neighborhood. I couldn’t find any other posts on how to do the whole thing. I’m trying to keep it cheap using stuff I have on hand and looking as “stock but cooler” as possible. So here we go.
I’ll update this as I go along.
