The old cables are frozen beyond belief... I’ve usually been able to get cables free but, I wanna get some spares.
is the choke cable p/n 8104/102118?
is the throttle cable p/n 8105/102119?

I got those part numbers off wheelhorsepartsandmore.

I have a '68 Commando 8, pretty much the same as your tractor but 1 year newer. According to my manual, the cables are:

 - Choke cable is P/N 5170

 - Throttle cable is P/N 5171

Not sure how these part numbers correspond to 8104 and 8105.

Most aftermarket cables are made longer than they need to be. This is done on purpose. You will just need to trim them to the length that you need before installation.

AHS, regularly LUBRICATE ANY MOVEMENT AREA, when installing a new cable , good idea to hang on end and get a verified oil drip thru , before installing , also go after any and all related linkage areas . these areas are on my regular , keep it smooth check spots. just what I do , pete
