A different type of drill and bits.

Most of my work is done at the bench, and any drill bit up to 3/16” is used mostly for pilot or clearance holes to drive screws. My go to tool all the time is a vintage push drill. It is compact and extremely efficient. Bits are stored right in it and are quickly removed and replaced. Bits 1/16” and smaller are also much sturdier than a regular twist version. 
it’s a relatively unknown tool that can still be cheaply obtained found thrown into piles of hardware and bits at many flea markets.

I have several Yankee drills and a small push drill but nothing as nice as this one!  Love the wooden bit holder!

They all work pretty well. This one happens to be the cat’s meow as far as push drills go. It’s an actual Yankee . The bit holder with bits was a gift from @WHX24.

Glad to see they went to a good home. I had no idea what they were for and would have had no use for them and hate to see stuff like that go to the trash can. They came from a box of stuff from an auction or something but no tool holder. 

I liked the $1.99 or what ever it was price tag on them!

@squonk can find the red suspenders no way I can work without them. Sure will be glad when you get use to retirement , you are typing toooooooooooooooo much.
