Im curious because I just spent 100$ on one near me for parts but now I'm not sure if the parts are even useful to me. I need parts to fit 1 inch axle trans. I mean its not much a loss for 100$ because it aint the worst iv seen. Here in KY its hard to find anything really. I tried searching google but couldn't find anything. Thanks folks!!

I'm pretty sure that the C-81 has 1-1/8" axles.

I'll second that.

You'll certainly get $100 back outta that though.

Maybe Lincoln at A to Z Tractor has the stuff you need?

What parts do you need? Many of the parts inside are interchangeable.

If the C81 tranny is good, just swap it into the tractor you are working on.

If you need any parts lemme know.

I've got a couple 8 speeds partially disassembled.

Check out if the shifting boot is cracked, where it’s sitting outside.... pull the dipstick on the tranny and you’ll find out....  if there water in there. Just a tranny fluid change and a shifting boot change and you’ll be all set.😀

One thing...according to my notes the #103916 transmission is the one that uses the needle bearing on the inner axle...not the famous #1533 ball bearing.  The needle bearing is #111199.  :eusa-think:
