ACman 7,618 #1 Posted January 17, 2021 (edited) My son preorder this table last year about this time. Well with COVID and all things slowed down things took longer tha it should’ve but he’s finally up and running. He had to teach himself autodesk fusion 360 (things have changed since I used to use auto cad 12 ) but learned more with each project. Some of you may have seen them on a different thread. Working on the next sign . . Will be looking for feed back or tips or tricks with anyone familiar with 360 . I know he can use pdx files too ? Will the script be etched, cut out completely or cut with hangers to just expose but not lose material? The two arches will be cut out . The Wheel horse script will be cut out with bridges in the letters that need it. As for the horse 1..cut out the whole thing 2..cut just the horse head leave the tire by and Pierce cutting and bridging the tire and cutting out the center if that makes sense. 3... ? Let’s hear um . @T-Mo @Tractorhead do you guy’s use fusion 360 40 minutes ago, roadapples said: How about hood ornaments with horse head.. yes ....that gives me some ideas thanks Jay limits on the table size I believe are 48”x36” in size and up to 1/2” for mild steel. Tractorhead 9,064 #6 Posted January 17, 2021 No never worked with fusion360. Actual my CNC is still in the Basement deactivated. Normally on CNC designs i use Estlcam. a simple CAM processor easy to learn an lots of functions. www.estlcam.de
