Looking like it'll be a nice rig when done. I like the air cleaner and sidepipe style stack.

:text-coolphotos:             Looking forward to following along with your build. Will this be another custom or a worker?

May want to replace the Fram oil filter with a NAPA 1410 or WIX 51410.

It would be good to get a Wix or Napa (made by Wix) filter and swap it out.

Wix is known to be of superior construction and filtering capability to fram.

I’ll do that while it’s apart and easy to access. Thanks!

:handgestures-thumbupleft:      I know the Fram PH2844 is listed for Toro Hydros but have heard some bad reports on the over the years.

Progress at snails pace. It doesn’t look like it, but I am getting a few things done with this project. Slowly but surely!

It's wintertime!  You seen a snail?  They ain't pacing!  You are flying man!  Keep it up and you'll be ready for GT time!  Love your tractor!

It’ll probably be a trailer queen for the shows.
pretty much stock with exception of the 16hp power plant.

Greg Meeker came over today to help tinker on this old girl. He was a HUGE help and great company!

We pulled the deck and got it put up, replaced acceleration springs in rear end, got rock shaft & hyd cylinder put back in, new hyd lines installed, fan & drive pulley back on.
we briefly tried to pull a hub. Might abort that plan. Afraid I’ll break it. They’re really stuck. I can clean them up and paint them while on the tractor. No big deal.

Bear, do you have any other 4 lug hubs?  Using another hub as a puller works better than the 2 or 3 jaw pullers every time!

I would not recommend that. The ratio of flange to hub length  on GT-14s and D series means you will almost surely break the hub if it is seriously stuck.  The hub is 4-5 inches long the flange about a half inch... You have to pull from the back of the hub.

Rather than a 3 jaw puller I have used a bottle jack like the one @meadowfield built.(I have to give him credit for a great idea)  If you don't have an extra hub you could drill four holes onto a piece of 3/8 thick steel.

Great ideas on the hub puller/pullers. Makes me wonder if we should have a dedicated thread in the information section titled such?

Forgive me if we do already....
