Aside from a great name, what were these used for?  There are 2 of them in similar shape for sale in CT on CL.

  Ok one is in MS

CL listings aren’t permitted here, but those look pretty cool.

They were used the same as any other garden tractor.  I can't remember who on here has or had a few of these.  I missed out on one in December.

Just an early garden tractor, I have a pile of old paperwork and other stuff on them. Not the most valuable, or useful.. but they are unique. Good for some light ground work or towing a trailer. 1794953863_BD9uOyAjSlGBWExI6riHg.jpg.257871c2e648db06b2c6305e40fb92ea.jpgfullsizeoutput_2e0.jpeg.2486d19b8c3b1bb68b0ffab525b4326a.jpeg

Save them. They are great little tractors. Tiller steer at that.

The one for $ 200 appears to be the most complete and original. You should go get it. The reverse gearing on them was a bit strange, a little rubber wheel would transfer power from the drive pulley, somewhat like the brass ring in the :wh: RJ-35.

go get it!

Not for me- was just confused because there is no hood on either. Tiller steer is cool but doesnt look fun unless you are going really slow.

I like the dual rears on that one tho

Definitely an adjustment period like any machine.

I've never driven one.

I'd own a tiller or lever steer given the chance though.

I cant imagine they went very fast. Mine doesn't. Duals are always are a cool factor for sure.

I would think it would be like steering a boat but in reverse

Rear duals on that one look pretty well past it, likely were loaded with ballast. The Wisconsin has no mag or carb, or plug.. ouch. I see one piece of the outer rim haha. Has a plow though, that's something in itself. The Panzer used a friction reverser too.

@BeninCT  posting Craig List links is not permitted on this site.  Talking about is OK, just no links.  :eusa-think:

Understood (been on forums where this was the rule so my apologies).  Why not though?  Just curious.

It has to do with, we are not a promotion site for other platforms.   Also, by listing the link, you are possibly under-cutting a prospective buyer and creating a competition.  This is not what this site is about.  Third, the owner of this site says no links.  :occasion-xmas:  @BeninCT

Now, for instance, using the pictures of something rare and posting those for information and discussion is OK.
