Well them too :laughing-rolling:  That's what I'd like to see, Buffalo vs GB in the Super Bowl, I'm giving the edge to the Bills.

If its Green bay and Buffalo in the super bowl it would make a awkward day at my moms house. She loves green bay.

What's your thoughts on covering up the pipe cut off and keeping with the patina theme? I usually hit those kind of things with a lite coat of rusty primer but usually sticks out. I know some guys just let it rust out again.

On an old bike I messed with a patina finish where I welded a piece in, I made a "paste" with salt and brushed it on let it sit for a day and I had instant rust!

Well heres some pics of the progress. Upgraded the rear rims and tires from a 23x8.50-12 to a 23x10.50-12. Went with the lawn tract otr for rear tire. Im pretty pleased with how its coming. Im waiting on the new bushing for the variable speed jackshaft. Then it will be on to the motor.

I believe the 1963 and 1964 JD 110's had 6-12 on the rear and 4.80-8 fronts.

@WVHillbilly520H I do like them tires myself!

2nd that ... I get alot of complements at plow day about how they dig.... even when loaded up with muck. Best off a very reasonabley priced shoe.

As far as football goes @rjg854 .... Little :offtopic:don't you think Randy.... let's not talk about it anymore .....would have been nice to see Pack vs  Bills tho.. half time Cindy was already planning the SB  menu...think it involved buffalo chicken  wings....sry....:hide:

Nice work on the tractor Chris! :handgestures-thumbupright:

6-12 rears would be what it probably came out with.  On the John Deeres, certain years (I can't remember what years), the type code indicated what type and size tires the tractor came out with.

I do believe the 63 and 64s had the 6-12 rears and i know the 65s on had 23x8.50-12.

The 110 came with a few tire options, including 6-12s and other sizes, either turf or ag type tires.

Awesome job on the patina restoration so far. I’m just gonna throw it out there have you thought about just using gorilla glue on the hood. My son used it to glue a plastic dash panel together on a side-by-side and it stayed together to my surprise after being beaten to death at the Sandune‘s.

You’re going to love those OTR’s  :handgestures-thumbupright: . I’m so glad my Kubota came with those rather than the industrial type R4’s . They’re more of a cross between a atv and Ag tire with a softer grippy  rubber and flexible sidewall .

Here’s a picture of my cousin 63 and his grandpa bought it brand new . Has one very old repaint but he owned a body shop so it looks good.

:text-yeahthat:..... let those battle scars show . Specially if you can get them to shut up tight and then when you sand the hood they’d probably hardly show . Some hydrogen Peroxide and a toothbrush maybe get all the dirt out. That’s just a thought that came mind as trick they use for Corian countertops to get those clean if they crack and have to glue them  back together .

Those Deestone 8" are fairly close looking pattern to the OTRs.

I got the hitch on, grips on and the new shifter ball. I used bicyle coke bottle grips. There 5 1/8 long, compared to the 4 in long normal grips. But for 15 buck compared to 50, ill take them. Now just to finish the motor and the hood. But theres 2 pics of a general idea of what it will look like when complete.
