AHS 1,443 #1 Posted January 8, 2021 Ok, I’m looking for a term! The wires that connect onto the key switch, those female plugs with the little barb on them. I’ve checked the dealer, they don’t have any of those clips. I was going to check eBay.

JAinVA 4,619 #5 Posted January 8, 2021 (edited) I got 100 of these from a vendor on E-bay for around $5.00 .They are barbed to be used in the plastic connectors. They are called female spade terminals as previously posted. Edited January 8, 2021 by JAinVA

peter lena 8,647 #8 Posted January 9, 2021 AHS , NOTING YOUR WIRE SWITCH ISSUES , added a 4 ga cable from the corner of my engine to frame , and bolted it to the GROUND RAIL , next to the battery , 1 st picture and last picture , also shown are the easy mount battery tender plug in always available. adding those washers to the inside of the PTO LEVER , under the ground rail , really firms up the action and makes it very smooth . that ground cable really helped out my electrical issues , pete
JohnD 145 #9 Posted January 9, 2021 They are also called 'quick disconnect' terminals. When I picked up my C-175 last fall the key is pretty wobbly in the ignition, so I picked up a spare ignition as an insurance policy; so far it is hanging on. Should I try and keep the 5-contact connector functioning, or just plan on replacing it with 5 new contacts when I pull it off?

If the terminals have ANY corrosion or looseness replace them ALL. 3
