I hear people referring to plastic WH wheel weigts.

Is the inside lead ? or why is it plastic?

Anybody any experience with mercury inside the tires? i hear it's 13 times heavier then water :laughing-rofl::D

So lead and mucery ain't an option. What about thungsten?  I believe twice the weight of steelI have no idea how expensive that is tho.

Steel was the best option for years, and will be forever then

Price maybe has something to do about it having a melting point of  6.000 °F
