I need to rebuild the chain, sprocket and misc bearings on my single stage snowblower for my 520lxi. I found parts on line but they were very expensive.  Is there a good place to get reasonably priced parts for this?

For the chain...maybe Tractor Supply.  For the sprocket...one of our venders @A-Z Tractor.  For the bearings...another vender Lowell  @wheelhorseman.

SLIPPERY, TRY TRACTOR SUPPLY, also on the RED SQUARE SITE , vendors . use specific  CHAIN AND OPEN GEAR  LUBRICANT ON THAT CHAIN SET UP ,  I  never let mine dry out , lubricate after use so it stays wet. also check out the lower adjustment bolt for that . LOWER SIDE  EDGE OF BLOWER INTAKE. MAKE A POINT OF LUBRICATING ANY RELATED MOVEMENT POINTS ,  you should be able to spin over the drive by hand , pete

If the parts are the same as the std. 79360 tall shoot , TSC has everything. No. 40 chain, sprockets, bearings and the lube. Pick up some Teddy's Root Beer whilst you're there! :occasion-xmas:

I needed to replace all bearings and sprockets on my s s 42 inch blower. I found the sprockets and bearings at amazon at really reasonable prices. It took a lot of looking to match up everything but I was able to find what I needed. Also I found auger bearings at a local husky dealer at 1/2 the price of napa who wanted $50.00 each.

When I rebuilt mine about 6-7 years ago, I got everything at the big bearing store online, better quality sprockets and bearings than TSC...https://thebigbearingstore.com/... Just need to know your I.D. O.D. bearings and tooth count for sprockets with #40 roller chain.

Any chance anyone would know the sizes of everything I'd need? I know that makes me sound lazy but I don't have a heated place to work on this and it would be nice to tear it all apart and have replacement parts on hand to put it back together right away.
