ebinmaine 67,703 #1 Posted January 3, 2021 I got this in the parts pile of the auction stuff two plus years ago and I pulled it out recently because I wanted a source of 12 volts with this type of plug for a plow light. Then I looked a little closer and it's manufactured in Meriden Connecticut and it's obviously got some age to it... Can't let just any man on the average model have a smoke, you know.. that's just for the man who paid the extra 75.00 for the Super .. what with the moon hubcaps, lighter, and a *slightly quieter exhaust The orange was an older standard color, then it sort of fluctuates between 1968-70 before being used only on the Custom line. There was also a "Special Suburban" in orange that was .. just a Suburban .. that said 'special'. And there was an orange Hydro Trac for a short time.
