squonk 41,164 #3 Posted January 1, 2021 Check the actual sizes before using. A .030 piston may be .0285325....!
Greentored 3,216 #4 Posted January 2, 2021 Have always had decent luck with Stens on a variety of things through the years.

No specific engine parts to speak of Paul. I've used Sten's parts for ... boy... 25 or 30 years I guess. Like any aftermarket parts company it's a good idea to inspect everything you purchase. Overall I've had great luck with every single piece I've gotten. In fact I've had some O. E. parts in Sten's packaging. I wouldn't hesitate to use them. 2
Oldskool 6,644 #6 Posted January 2, 2021 I've only bought a couple things from Stens. It was 2 glass sediment bowls/housings. Each bowl had to be sanded to fit before use. Other then that, no issues. Great service, and prompt shipping.

This is why my machinist has me bring him the new pistons before he punches the hole out. A very good practice.

Bill D 1,926 #9 Posted January 6, 2021 Can you purchase directly from Stens?
richmondred01 2,237 #10 Posted January 6, 2021 You must have an account and procure a fixed dollar amount of parts on a quarterly basis. At least that’s the way it was several years ago.
