8ntruck 6,998 #1 Posted January 1, 2021 As the temperatures drop and the snow sticks to the ground, y'all rember to watch your step when you are outside working. We got somewhere between 3 and 4 inches yesterday. The temperature was right at freezing, so the snow packed down into a damp slippery mass. When I was working the 2 cycle Toro snowthrower on the hilly part of my driveway, I found one of those slippery spots. Didn't go down, but the snowthrower and I did a few steps of the Watussi before I got my balance back. The Toro was up on one wheel at one point. Later on while walking the dog, I found an ice patch under the snow and was on the ground before I knew it. The dog thought I was laying on my back in the snow 'cause I wanted to play with him. He wasn't much help getting me back upright. I got a swollen wrist out of the deal, which is responding nicely to naproxen - so just minor damage. 1 1
