But overall I agree. We buy local whenever it's practical and possible.

Very cool! Mine's a 260z. It had slotted mags on it like yours until last week. Need to get new tires on them. In the meantime, the 280zx wheels that are on it will suffice. I've had it for about 10 years. 2 months ago it was sitting dead in its spot where it had been for those 10 years. I got it out, welded new floor pans in, went through the brakes, fixed a lot of wiring that the P.O. had hacked, and got it running. Been taking it on small trips around town the last couple of weeks and love it.

I figure if the car has already been produced and sold that it doesn't make much of a difference. There's a Porsche behind it and another Datsun outside of the picture, but there's also my '65 Elky, my gas hog V-10, another one of my Dodge trucks, and a slew of other American cars hidden in the background.
