haydendavid380 759 #1 Posted December 31, 2020 I just bought a deck from an online auction. Was listed as a 48" Is this a D series deck? If so (assuming everything is solid) what would ballpark value be on it? Are they harder to come by than the B/C decks?
roadapples 6,983 #2 Posted December 31, 2020 48 But I don't think D series...
Ed Kennell 38,028 #3 Posted December 31, 2020 The deck looks like a standard 48" shell that would fit a C, 3,4, 0r 500 series, but I have never seen that type of carriage mount. Can you ID Garry @gwest_ca ?
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #4 Posted December 31, 2020 I don't know the decks well but the handle on the hitch bar caught my eye. You can see it here - item #43 https://www.partstree.com/models/5-1220-toro-48-side-discharge-mower-deck-1973/parts-list-for-48-18-hp-automatic-0/ Here is a list of all the D-Series decks. I do not know if they all have the handle. pacer 3,168 #6 Posted December 31, 2020 Havent had my D200 deck off in a while but ..... IIRC that is the same deck - and yes it does have that handle.
daveoman1966 3,745 #7 Posted December 31, 2020 That is 'D' series deck...48" for sure. Just swap out the lift brackets and it will fit almost any B or C series tractors.
haydendavid380 759 #8 Posted December 31, 2020 I bought it on the off chance that the belt covers might fit my 42" on my 312 that's missing them. The only tractor I have that's missing a deck is my B-80, and there's no way it's going to run that thing if I swap the brackets. I would think someone would trade a 36" for it.
