Hello,

I have a decal that I applied and removed too many times, is there an adhesive I can use? Tried Loctite spray adhesive but it didn't flatten out enough.

We have a 3M spray adhesive at home of some sort.

I can get you the number in a bit.

What is the decal made of and what are you trying to stick it to?

It's a vinyl  Toro 111312 danger decal from Terry. Enamel Painted Metal on my 312-8. I "think" I may have some of that 3M, maybe spray it and burb it, then apply? I thought someone had used similar, but want to do this once, "hopefully", lol! Been wicked of late as my enthusiasm has decreased a bit, albeit It's moving along.......

You may want to give Terry a ring just to make sure that's going to be compatible.

Was it me I would put a pretty light coat on a sticker like that and then maybe try to apply it right down the center and spread to the sides...

If your decal still has adhesive on it, but just not sticky anymore, we used this in the bodyshop. 3M also makes a single use version, but this is much cheaper. It will also work to help make any plastic products sticky to help you adhere double sided tape.

Wouldn't it be easier just to order a new decal?

Asking @Vinylguy is the best idea.

Except for this even better idea. :)

Has anyone called Terry of late? That's the best answer I can give with respect to that suggestion, he may need a break for a short spell.

I did reach Terry before the holidays and asked that same question, he had no suggestions. Usually a replacement is easier and one was sent, but it was the wrong one. I believe commercial work is priority for a bit right now.

He had no suggestion aside from a new one.

None of the spray products will lay down flat on a decal. Take your old decal, lay it face down and clean off all the old adhesive using some type of wax and grease remover, rubbing alcohol, etc. Once it's clean and dry press it onto this transfer adhesive. When you remove it from the adhesive strip, the adhesive will stick to your decal and you're back in business.

I really like this product, going to look into that. However, Terry did call back! He is still swamped but doing well again, Thank God!
