ASM bracket on PTO

Is there a particulr gap setting for the bracket relative to the PTO pulley. I just replaced mine, becuase the pad was was worn down to the rivets.

Stick a business card between the pad and the pulley and apply the pto. Hold pad tight to the card and tighten the bolts that mount the pad. Release the pto and remove the business card.

I found that a bit tight (the book calls for .15") so I use two cards! :)
