Bastkerg 14 #1 Posted December 23, 2020 Hello everyone. I inherited this 704 and have started to restore it. I have been lurking a lot on the forum but I got it running the other day. So far I have changed crankcase oil, gear oil. Cleaned combustion chamber. Filed down the exhaust valve, adjusted the points,cleaned the carb and changed the spark plug. New gaskets everywhere too. Im not sure if that made any difference or if it was just the spark plug that got it running.
