Yes, but those tires or parts, have to be available.

Here, we have to make our own pulleys. 

 

To little people here are handy, wanting to spend time making something. So parts are no existing. Ask @bizon

There is no air in the tires.  They are so large and heavy duty, they stay on the rims just fine.

Not so much a "big tire" but I have a set of these and the side walls are heavy bead, directional traction and tough.

Neighbor has R4's on the Kubota not real good other then dry asphalt, I like the R1 but lean toward the ATV style low profile tires.

The tires I have on Cinnamon Horse are fluid filled and I've never checked the pressure in at least three years now...

There is some air in there but it may not be under pressure anymore. 

The fluid alone is more than enough to hold the tires to shape.

But here it is all the modern sh*t, run by computers, Good luck finding parts for anything older then 10 years old, except Stihl chainsaws, Briggs and stratton motors and cars.

Sometimes here isn't much better but we do have a wealth of information on the WWW, but that info is only as good as those that have posted it, Partstree.com is a really good source for part numbers whether still made or NLA for most brands of lawn and garden equipment, lots of people on here poke fun at the green brand (myself included) but they do have one the largest coverage of parts for their equipment spanning many decades, it is unfortunate that most suppliers are actually letting service parts disappear either for budget/income constraints, EPA concerns, or the fact the product line was "killed" off and no longer made/sold (Toro with Wheel Horse) so many variables here, be thankful we have this community here for answers we can't always find elsewhere. Keep the faith.

I went to a local Toro dealer, they didn't had ignition points for a kohler, yet the had a NOS Drive belt from Wheelhorse.

 

You need to have luck.

That's fairly easy to understand considering Kohler stop using points in the early 80s and Wheel Horse belts were used 15 or 20 years after that

what about eliminating the points in favor of a electronic module conversion? I did that on an old briggs and it worked fine.

Although the guy who owned the Toro dealer up the road didn't like them but its an option. They've been around awhile.

I've had it done to a Briggs as well. Works great. 

 

Didn't know they were available for a Kohler K.

I thought they were unviersally adaptable? Its been awhile since I did that conversion as I usually don't work on too many battery ignitions.

I trimmed a little off the seat pan/fender and run 10psi of air. Also I’m trying to put a twin Briggs on the old girl
