Snowblower mounting

Recommended Posts

So this summer I picked up an ST326 blower for my 855. I went to mount it up a few weeks ago to test it out and couldn't find a setup that looked like it would work. It looks like I am in need of a set of mounting plates that go in front of the axle, similar to the 8-5551 set I put on my 800 Special, but I don't see a set of holes to mount that set to.

Is the 8-5551 kit correct for a short-frame tractor as well, or is there something else?

You need a 8-1/2 inch 3/8NC bolt and two 3/8 ID 1/2 OD sleeves (silver bolt in picture)   It goes through the first side holes on the tractor frame

Ok, awesome. The bolt came with the blower and I thought it was just a ghetto-fab pivot bar. That means the only thing I need that I don't have are a chute cable and a running engine, and @wheelhorseman has the cables for like $10.

Learned today I am missing a piece. I don't have the 5619 mounting bracket or the MW-8821 idler pulley. The pulley Lowell has. That bracket for the puller seems to be unobtainable.

Any chance anybody has one and can get me dimensions on it? I have found a picture and it looks like I can build one easy enough, I just need to know the sizes/lengths.
