Sparky-(Admin) 21,312 #1 Posted December 16, 2020 Last couple years we haven’t had much snow. But the storm forecasted for tonight into tomorrow is predicted to drop more snow than we got the entire 2019-2010 winter. I live to the right of the white box that says “12-20”. Can you say SEAT TIME! 1 2
wallfish 16,985 #2 Posted December 16, 2020 Don't go out on the roads until after all of the bald tire people are done crashing their cars or getting stuck in the intersections on the way to the tire store. Nothing gets them motivated like a deep snow event! 1

I almost lost it a few times because the roads are just that bad. 1
WHX?? 48,792 #5 Posted December 16, 2020 Does this mean no school...errr work tomorrow?? Not around here we ain't getting nothing.... send some my way. Batteries in the 520'S need charging .... carbs losing their prime. It may come to getting one of those snow making machines they use at ski hills for some decent seat time. Watching ABC world news sounds like you guys are getting hammered. Phones ringing gotta go ...PA DOT wants me to load up the deuce and head out. They says bring a $natch strap to get the idiots who don't understand how to drive in snow out the ditches! 1

adsm08 2,027 #11 Posted December 17, 2020 Well I just got back in from round 2 of plowing. There was more on the ground than at 3:00, but for most of the hour and a half or so that I was out there it seemed like it was slowing down. Right as we (me and the neighbor) finished up it started with the freezing rain. I officially have no idea what I will find tomorrow morning, or if I will have work. As of right now the schools are on a delay and so is the daycare, so I probably will at least be going in late because I can't drop the kids until 8, and my wife has a mandatory staff meeting at 8. WHNJ701 4,165 #18 Posted December 17, 2020 They were way off on the numbers, we only got 6 to 8 from what I can tell. The wind worked to my advantage and nothing was on the plastic sheds roofs. Still was a nasty storm

ebinmaine 67,307 #22 Posted December 17, 2020 We've got something like 14" and it's still snowing lightly. Probably head outside at 3 or 4 pm and play with the walk behind Ariens then plow/scrape/clean up the yard with a Cinnamon Horse.
mmmmmdonuts 274 #23 Posted December 18, 2020 (edited) We got blasted with snow. We got 32" where I am and just north of me got 3'. The mail box is about 4' off the ground and prior to any plows coming through. So much for 4-8" forecasted about 24 hours prior. The day of was still 8-12" Edited December 18, 2020 by mmmmmdonuts
