Charlie Pride RIP

I saw that Charlie Pride passed away at the age of 86 from COVID. I remember my parents listened to him in the 70s. Im not a country music fan but give this guy credit for his success.

I hadn't heard...   And so sorry to hear.  And I've heard it first here!  And to lose him to Covid...  So sad.

I was very fond of his songs.

I had the pleasure of attending Ada Fox's 104th birthday, some of her guests arriving used walking aids and she commented to me, my goodness I'm in much better shape than most of my guests.

Ada A Fox was born on October 1, 1884. She died on January 31, 1993 at 108 years old. We know that Ada A Fox had been residing in Bellingham, Whatcom County, Washington 98225.

It's sad to see Charlie go, about all the older Country Music Stars are gone, just a few left. I wonder if he really died of Covids. Around here they put down that every one died of Covids and the Hospital get 45,000 dollars from the government,

Three doctors left the local hospital because they would not put down people died from Covids when they didn't.

Sorry to hear about Charlie Pride. Like another said, I remember my dad listening to Charlie, Johnny Cash, and Buck Owens when I was a kid.

A few weeks ago we watched Charlie Pride receive the Willy Nelson Lifetime Achievement award from the Country Music Association, now he is gone from us.      We miss you.

Old Charlie is immortalized in a D. A. Coe song.... you don't have to call me Charlie Pride!

Darn!  That just reminded me that I need that too!  Pretty sure I know where one is.

Brings back some really good memories from a simpler life!  No CoVid and not EVEN AIDS!  Wonder what's next...

1966 Ford 3/4 ton 4 speed with a homemade black vinyl leather console with 8 track built around the 4 speed shifter, and a few good 8 track tapes..

He sure had some good slow dancin songs back in my younger days, KofC Halls, SPJST Halls, Country Fair Halls.
