Wheel Horse tractor lift assembly and comments

It's worth the money as is and I have no intentions of returning it.  But the flaw should be fixed.  Funny, if it leaned towards the lift I wouldn't care.

The tilt is there without ANY load.

And I agree, but I'm undecided:

First, move the top bushing and re-weld it,

Second, make the lift paralell arms shorter by moving the holes tighter  which may mean making new parallel arms or somehow plugging and moving a drilled hole.

Finally, we could change the lift carriage angle by cutting and re-welding the lift carriage.

I and too would feel better if the lift cradle was beefed up.  Again, not sure what's best.  I hate to weld and burn off the powder coat but even if I managed to redo the lift bar holes I'd still burn off when I reinforce the lift cradle single lift point.  Could move the holes by grinding to recenter larger holes and then bush back to original size.  But maybe better to do all the work at the lift cradle.  Cut at the weld point through the top to the bottom, bend back up and reweld with gussets on the sides.
