Dozer Blade SPR 42

Recommended Posts

Has anyone tried fabricating all the lift mechanisms for the blade.

Recently purchased blade only.  Lift mechanisms don't look that complicated.

But all I have to go on at the moment is the photo from front of OM.

So I'm wondering if anyone has dimensions for the drive assemble, the hanger plates and lift link?

Sorry I didn't get back with this yesterday, just one of those days. The 3/4" round stock is welded to the 1 1/4" pipe and the 3/4" washers are welded to them. You will need two 3/8 X 7" bolts to hold the plates to the tractor frame. Do not use galvanized pipe, the fumes when you weld are deadly.

953 Nut

I have to  tell you I'm absolutely blown away that you would do this.

"Thank You" just doesn't seem like enough.

I'll make sure I pay it forward when I get the chance.

I guess I'm all in now and I'll post pics of progress.  I might even be pushing snow come February.

Rj was completed this week. Exhaust, belt drive, & heat shield. It now just needs paint and decals but that's going to have to wait until the spring.

Best of the Season

John

:text-thankyouyellow:             I did the drawing in "Paint".   I haven't graduated to the CAD or any other fancy stuff.

Chuckle!  Well you did a nice job with a simple program!  It's that kind of extra effort that makes the forum what it is!

That is just a small token of my appreciation for the favors others have done for me on  RedSquare  over the years.
