@pullstart It is for my original Wheel Horse front de-thatcher. Swapped it over from my 520-H when I did the trade, very handy!

Great observation!  Yes, those should be trimmed as short as possible!

Take one of the weights off and check the back side.  I have a similar pair of weights.  They should have a recess on one side so the bolts don't stick out like that.  They may be installed backwards.  Bill
