bottjernat1 2,190 #1 Posted November 25, 2020 Well I ran across this tool the other day I am the proud owner of. I think it is from the 1950's. Correct me if im wrong. It is an old Texaco Radiator pressure tester and in great shape! Show of your vintage tools!

DET 105 #4 Posted November 25, 2020 When I worked at Sohio in the early eighties we had a pressure tester just like that so I think fifties is a little too early.

R Scheer 502 #8 Posted November 28, 2020 (edited) An electric drill that predates OSHA! 110 VAC, 6A, and 475 rpm. Pull the trigger once to turn on, and a second time to turn off. If it catches while drilling, let go and let it wind the cord around itself until the cord unplugs. If you really need to use its full torque a 6' 3/4 pipe makes a good handle. A second person is necessary. Patent date 1924, and still works! Edited November 28, 2020 by R Scheer 2

The problem is that most of us are not just in love with one particular item or hobby. I have realized that the more knowledgeable one becomes about a certain subject in which items related to it are involved the more one wants to be surrounded by such items and the more one appreciates them. After all if it wasn't for individuals like us a lot of history would be abandoned and eventually lost for ever. As for me, tractors are a problem ( so others say) but they are a small problem compared to everything else going on here.
