Docwheelhorse 2,672 #1 Posted November 24, 2020 Hello all, I know the Kohler aluminum body fuel pumps generally have unobtainable rebuild kits. What about this style off the K341 16 hp single? Happy Thanksgiving and stay safe! Tony

wallfish 17,023 #6 Posted November 25, 2020 (edited) Take it apart but go slowly in case the springs can come out loose. Those little springs can be like the lost socks from your clothes dryer, who knows where they go but they're never seen again. If the check valves are accessible little disks, (which I'm guessing they are) clean them up and flip them over. clean the surface they mate too and they should work again. Since those are mechanical driven pumps, the diaphragm should work as long as there aren't any holes in it. I have some diaphragm material if need be but not sure what that type looks like. Open them up! Edited November 25, 2020 by wallfish
ZXT 2,401 #7 Posted November 25, 2020 Following this. I have one on an Electro (that I've owned since February and forgot I had bought until about a week ago) that I assume will need rebuilding! What are you wearing gloves for? You're acting like it's cold outside

rjg854 11,392 #11 Posted November 26, 2020 I'll try calling them tomorrow, altho that might not be a good day. Even I have the day after Thanksgiving off. I'm just surprised with no response, seeing what others have commented on the place.

c-series don 8,732 #17 Posted November 26, 2020 I got a few rebuild kits from Then and Now. They worked great. It was a couple of years ago but I actually spoke to someone and they were very nice!
BOB ELLISON 2,981 #18 Posted November 26, 2020 I rebuilt my 341 fuel pump just like that one. I ordered 2 kits from then and now and it has all the parts you need to rebuild it. I never could get anyone to answer my emails. You have to call him. They went up in price to $32.00 per kit but very nice quality. https://www.then-now-auto.com/kohler-fuel-pumps-2/

And to think I sit right here all the time. 1
