Ed Kennell 38,024 #1 Posted November 21, 2020 (edited) Reminds me of "TREMORS" one of my fave flicks. The little tunnel diggers are back. I gassed them with Kohler CO about 5 years ago and this is the first they came back. I speared one last night. Do they make good pot pie? . JoeM 7,871 #5 Posted November 21, 2020 The extreme dry weather here seemed to push them into the wooded area. Now it is a good bit softer figure they will start the migration back here as well.
clueless 2,976 #6 Posted November 21, 2020 Ed, I'm sure there is a Cajun recipe for them. The deference between a regular zoo and a Cajun zoo: A regular zoo has a sign in front of the animal telling you what the animal is and about it. At a Cajun zoo the sign tells you how to cook it. 3 1
Pullstart 62,799 #7 Posted November 21, 2020 If my hunt doesn’t improve, I might have to grind a few up and tell the fam it’s deer burger!
Tractorhead 9,064 #8 Posted November 21, 2020 On czech border there are some flea markets and sometimes they sell „la bomba“ called firecrackers... 😎ok, now they are prohibited here on my site, but i couldn’t understand why. The Detonation cord was long enough in my opinion, So don‘t ask me, why they called them so. only one of them in the tunnel and - Kaboom 🤪😇 time to move is 20-30 sec. - i think Required to know that.. 😂. i tried it once - ok maybe not the best idea i ever had... but hey it was dang funny and after the kaboom several months no Visitors at all. i tested it on my Uncles property..😂😂😂 the advance, you ain‘t need tilling your garden after.

JAinVA 4,619 #10 Posted November 22, 2020 I have a couple of those traps. They work well. One time I had a mole that was in a location that when the trap went off he got speared by one tine in the front paw only. A clean kill is preferred but he turned the tunnel into a huge hole trying to get away.
Ed Kennell 38,024 #11 Posted November 22, 2020 They can move some dirt. Those front paws look like mini back hoe buckets.
