gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,096 #2 Posted November 12, 2020 Welcome to the forum. A 315-8 will have Wheel Horse's own cast iron Uni-drive 8-speed transmission. Click on the fuzzy picture that is mostly missing in the link for more info. Garry
Randy Lindblad 71 #3 Posted November 12, 2020 (edited) Thank you for toy input I also have another one haha . I have a 1988 516-h hydro and I really enjoy using it to tow small trailer I have seen quite a few folks suggesting it’s 700 Eaton hydro is obviously not as strong as an 1100 Eaton I don’t want to damage it I. Any way but I’d like to know if it would be safe to mount a snowblower on the front of this one thanks for responding Edited November 12, 2020 by Randy Lindblad
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,096 #4 Posted November 12, 2020 The 315-8 will blow snow like no tomorrow and if it can't blow it it will push it until you loose traction. Far stronger transmission than the 516-H. If you download the D&A file in the link above it lists the attachments recommended. Here is one for the 516-H so you can compare the attachment lists.
