Same here, I am out of garage space and now they're beginning to congregate outside! It is hard to impossible to say no to a WH in the double digit price range. 1

Succeeding dibs shall be honored by dibee (is that even a word ) on the order that dibs is received by said dibee. That said 2nd dibs Kev. BTW Rob did I mention I have another set of original RJ fronts? .... Love that rule! Especially the wording...sounds very sophisticated. Haha
oldiron613 583 #34 Posted November 13, 2020 Kevin, I'm really excited to see close up pictures after you get that baby picked up next week! I'm most curious to know what that Clinton engine/spec # is to confirm it's original and jives with the trend data @rj35hunter (Clay) has educated me on and we've been documenting together. Congrats again! I think it's especially cool that you now have both the original Pond made Ride-Away Junior and Senior - that's a really special, historically significant set in my opinion.

I was referring solely to the fact that my garage looked fat with The WHrat WHrecker in it and @pullstart “needed” a Black Hood to round out his herd...

You better get over there and buy that engine, looks like he has a coal car to. You won't have any competition if you buy it all up. Think of it as an up grade your just a big kid and it will be a lot more fun. . Edited November 13, 2020 by Lee1977 1
Pullstart 62,922 #38 Posted November 19, 2020 I picked this up, just stopping for some lunch! Wendy’s pretzel bun beer cheese spicy chicken Sammy! Yum! The brothers who sold the property were there, they told me stories that their dad bought it new and let the kids ride it around in circles in the living room until mom told them there were too many fumes in the house! 4

oldiron613 583 #46 Posted November 21, 2020 Thanks for the Clinton info! I'm happy to confirm that's the original engine and indeed a 1956 Wheel Horse spec engine. I'll add it to our registry next week and let you know where it falls with the others recorded. I'm thrilled for you; such a great find there! 1

Pullstart 62,922 #49 Posted January 15, 2021 I decided having this since November 12 and never playing with it, it was time. It needs a carb float unstucking as it floods all over, but it runs great! 1
