“And I’m proud to be an American, where at least I know I’m free...”

Thank you to all, who have and are currently serving this country!  I am thankful for the local militia, the police and emergency services, our land, air and water military personnel and all who actively keep this country secure and free!

Like EB, I too have no military background, but have family and friends in the ranks, among my youngest 17 year old brother in-law who recently enlisted in the marines, shipping out just after graduation to boot camp.  I am thankful for y’all’s service, no matter the badge!

WHX??

Thank you to all fellow veterans, especially any sub vets. I think of you "lifers" often when Uncle Sam deposits my Navy retirement check every month! :) I would also encourage you to support your local VFW, American Legion and all the fine clubs that support our veterans.

Daddy Don

I was drafted in 1968 went in the Air Force. After boot camp I was trained on the F100 super saber. Sent to Vietnam retrained to the F-4 Phantom. I was a Crew Chief. Loved the service and all the friends I made. Lost a lot of good friends while there. They gave all. I would do it again if I could. I am 72years young. Still in contact with a lot of the men and women I got to know. My service years was from 1968-1972.

I give all of my thoughts to the people we lost and also all the ones that came home. Have a great day and be proud of what we did. Best of all remember the ones that did not make it home. God bless all and the United States of America.

Love to all
