How does a Kohler 14hp attach to raider frame?

I have a 1972 raider 14 that I am restoring but I cant figure out how the engine attaches to the frame, parts manuals show an engine plate but dont show how tall it is.

All the Kohlers I have use two bolts and nuts on the left side and two bolts inside the right frame rail into two tapped holes in the oil pan plate.

The only plates I am aware of are the rocker plate engine mounts.

I know that the K-181's sat on a plate on mid/long frames, and that is shown in many of the parts diagrams.

953 nut

:WRS:

You may have small base Kohler which will require a mounting plate. Take a look at this thread to see which you have.

So is the 14 hp the original engine the came on it? Second did you disassemble the tractor to restore it?

Yes the engine is the original but it sat for a while in my scrap pile without the engine and and trans axle attached.
