Plow and frame

How’s it going. So I located a brand new in the box plow and frame the numbers on frame are 0648bc01 b1063. Does anyone know what tractors it will fit on. The rear mount it came with is narrower than the one that is currently on my tractor. Thanks.

The b1063 should be a serial number but serials don't have letters.

The C in the model number indicates it is for the C-Series at the time.

Do you have pics of the plow/frame and or your tractor?

Yeah that’s the exact plow in the diagram. I have a few tractors and want to try to mount it on one them. Most likely my 67 1267 or which ever one I can for it on. But I don’t think the rear mounting bracket will work. I also have a 69 raider 12, 64 654 71 commando 800, and 86 308-8. I don’t believe it will fit any but wanted confirmation from the you guys who know best. Thanks again as always for the help and Info. I’ll get a picture after supper.

That plow will fit any of the long frame tractors you've mentioned.

It's the bracket I'm curious about

So the dirty bigger bracket came off the 1267 and the newer smaller bracket came with the plow and frame.

I'm not familiar with that smaller piece.

Perhaps @953 nut or @pfrederi could help.

Maybe off a 200 series or a Lawn Ranger?

Its hard to tell the scale, but the one on the right looks like what is under my '83 C-175.  I measure 12" from silver latch to latch.

The one on the left mounts to the front of the square axle housings.

The one on the right mounts to the bottom of the square axle housings.

Each assembly needs to stay with their plow.

If you look at the list of plows in the file I linked you to it will make sense to you. Click on that picture in the link.

Roll the one on the right so the cut-out notch is on the bottom and then turn end for end. Now it's position matches the one on the left.

Ok I see it now. I was looking at it as a front mount. Makes total sense now. Thanks again for all the help. In everyone’s opinion which tractor would be best for the plow setup and what tractor would be best for snow thrower. I usually use the raider with snow thrower but in a year I magically acquired 4 more tractors. Lol. Thanks.

I'll go back here for a minute.

Snowblowing needs some HP to spin the tines.

Keep the snowblower on the Raider.

Plowing ISN'T about power. Either the 1267 or 308 is adequate for plowing power.

Plowing is about traction. You need weights and chains. LOTS of WEIGHTS.

Fluid fill the tires and hang a bunch of metal stuff off the tractor.
