WHX?? 48,791 #28 Posted November 6, 2020 I woulda thought Brian Ohio would have some open stuff where rifles are allowed? Maybe not but I know some serious 'tails are scored in OH with archery.

Shot placement Shot placement Shot placement If you are confident the 20 will fire and put the slug where you aim, That's the one to use. Any slug 12, 16, 20 , or .410 in the boiler room will kill a whitetail I am not a fan of buckshot for deer. thanks everyone, for confirming my thoughts! As for shot placement, I recently was reminded to aim for just behind the shoulder of the far side of the deer... that’ll sure fire through both lungs and guarantee a kill.

Pullstart 62,800 #32 Posted November 12, 2020 1st shot low and right. Made 8 click adjustments. 2nd shot, close to center of tape intersection! Made 1 click adjustment. 3rd shot, right on top of #2. It’s good enough for me!

The .450 bushmaster is close to to the old .45-70 government ballistics.

I've heard of guys knocking em down at 200 yards. I use a single shot H & R 20 gauge with rifled slugs. I shotgun hunt just like bow hunting and seldom shoot past 40 yards. Good luck out there!
