Hauling help is equal to first dibs.  Example: when I picked up that 1045 for Ryan, I called 1st dibs.  Hauled it 400+ miles total

Stupid is as stupid does?!?!? He better have greased you some gas money!

dibee (is that even a word )

I hereby declare that dibee is officially a recognized word in the language of tractor or machinery collecting, maintenance and operation.

Heretofore, henceforth, and from now on, it's usage shall be considered appropriate, copacetic, and okie dokie.

Exceptions will be accepted if a red tractor owner of any brand is making fun of, picking on, or correcting somebody who owns one of those green things with yellow wheels.....

The Haiku Police :law-policeblue: concur and note, for the record, “dibee” is two syllables... not the French dibea (pronounced dib-ee-ae). The Haiku Police :law-policeblue: do not condone usage of any French at any time...

:naughty:

Rule number ??; if a Wheel Horse is under $100 for buying, you don’t have to tell your wife. 😀

I recently had an experience wherein I missed on a tractor that was free by a few minutes.

My female was seemingly just as disappointed as I was.

I believe that should give me forward permission to get another tractor

Tough call right there. Lots of variables. Could be some fun answers in there.

Good one farmer ... new rule shall be amended as follows.....

Telling the SWMBO, or other members,  you paid alot less than what you actually paid  for said tractor  shall not be considered as lying but rather BSing. Depth of said BS shall be directly proportional to quality of said tractor and heft of frying pan and/or rolling pin and ribbing from said members that you overpaid.

:)

I feel it's also important to point out that BS is the initials for Big Show and that means that it's automatically a good thing.

Remember I said that; selling a Wheelhorse for a lot more than you’ve got into it, that’s 50 bucks WELL spent!!

It shall be perfectly acceptable to show up for date night with your wife smelling of rotten gasoline and/or or grease under your fingernails.

It is also perfectly acceptable to slip out to the shop during holiday gatherings the moment politics or religion is discussed.

There shall be no mention of a coincidence when you suggest to your wife that you miss your daughter and suddenly discover a tractor for sale once you arrive at her place. bonus points for finding another one on the way home.
