bc.gold 3,403 #1 Posted November 3, 2020 (edited) Dump SCORE, Briggs Model Z Z and a smaller N, no fuel cap on the small engine and you'd never guess who built a nest inside. Both engines are complete and free to turn over. Edited November 4, 2020 by bcgold 4

Yesterday as a matter of fact. not one i frequent very often but I had to return those case service manuals and decided to get rid of some of the junk I had loaded onto my truck. Years ago I had installed a goose neck faucet on the kitchen sink and Pat loves it, this year when it started to leak searched the hardware stores high and low for a replacement, instead ended up waiting three weeks for new cartridges to arrive. Seems that two handled faucets are becoming a thing of the past, anyhow yesterday found a nice set that we'll overhaul then add into our plumbing inventory. About 30 pounds of .500" copper pipe. probably from the plumbing renovation from which the faucets came from. A large two faced outdoor clock with a thermometer found its way onto the truck, the clock installs on a pole so I thought I might install it at the top of our driveway as traffic has a stop sign before entering onto the main highway. There was a nice 60 gallon compressor tank but decided to leave it, looked heavy. I'm hoping the prize is the Quadrajet, wont know until I clean it up a find the numbers.

Achto 27,507 #5 Posted November 4, 2020 Your lucky @bcgold. If something is dropped off at our dump, it cannot be removed. I begged, pleaded and even offered bribes when I saw 2 complete tractors sitting on the scrap metal pile one day. Was told "Once it's on the ground it cannot leave". 1
WHNJ701 4,165 #6 Posted November 4, 2020 I am sure I mentioned this before our township is really cool about stuff, they even have a list you can write on, "if someone drops off??? Please call." The scrap metal they cash in to offset the program. The worst day I had there was when I came back with more tires than I dropped off!

Did they pay you anything?

I had an assortment of complete quadrajets and parts (including metering rods etc) in a box sitting in a red wagon in the basement of my parents house sat there for years - out of the way my dad threw it out - all of it including the wagon he also threw out a turbo 400 I pulled out of a 70 GTO cringe meanwhile - a bunch of garbage including old dirty rags and cardboard boxes and various discarded broken parts remain go figure
tom2p 2,394 #9 Posted November 4, 2020 (edited) also had a bunch of factory open element air cleaners and dual snorkel air cleaners I would grab them when I found them cheap at shows, swap meets garage sales, etc most were GM; many still had the factory stickers on the lid, etc I accumulated them for years they were also stacked on and next to the red wagon all gone - all thrown out Edited November 4, 2020 by tom2p

You could do 30 forward then slam that transmission into reverse for the best smoke show. The LT1 350 was built for propane. I had just met my new girlfrind and the honey moon was still on, one day her nephew knocked on the door informing me that there was a swarm of bees all over the back of my truck, yea I had slipped some comb of honey then tossed the frames into the back of the truck. The kid was telling the truth there were thousands of bees at work scavenging honey I had missed. Both the truck and GF are long gone. She had a condition called Vaginismus tis what I miss of her the most. Edited November 4, 2020 by bcgold
