Oh hadn't thought of LEDs. Boy that would be bright. There are 5 bulbs in there

Not all the bulbs are lit together, right?  This looks like the ones that have "regular" and "dark" mode.  The slits give just enough running and braking illumination so that the next vehicle in the convoy doesn't rear end them but not enough to give away their position to aerial observation.

No not al are lit ltogether, but in a headlight application I could run all for high beam and 2 or 3 for low beam.

Well I abandoned the last idea pic. A little time wasted but I think alot of time saved it the long run. This is a bit more straight forward. Its up and out of the way. It works well. A bit of trimming and I think it will be ok.

Just one point. With only the one bolt you may find the idler moving down. I would slot the bracket and use two bolts. Would need a longer bracket, but would then give you more adjustment.

I'd second that.

@Stormin  @ebinmaine the one bolt you are talking about. Is that the pivot bolt for the arm? That bolt can tighten up and has a lock washer. Or are you referring to the vertical bolt that pushes up on the arm with a jam nut?

Given both of those things in the picture I would say you should be fine.

Looks like it would offer easy access for quick tightening of the new chain.

I'm thinking when the chain guards are built there will be holes in relation to those bolts for easy tightening

It's looking like another garage day for me. The boss just called off the day.

I acquired some military taillights today. I may flip them over and change the lens to clear and use as headlights. What's your thoughts?

Does anyone have any ideas where I can find a 5in clear lens to cut down to ft these? I have checked local and online. Not much luck

If you want it diffused I'd go with above.

Of you want it straight clear flat get some plexi and use LED lights for low temp.

I think it would look better diffused. I would still go with the LEDs I think

All sprockets and hubs are welded, and all chained up.

I definitely agree with that.

I'm not sure if I could really make any further recommendations as far as where to find a lens.

Maybe there are military outfits that sell changes?

Fire or police outfits?

Might be worth a call to summit or jegs or both..

Hello fellas. I bought this 211-3 tractor. I have no clue how this mower deck comes off. I need to fix some areas on the deck, as well as replace a clutch cable. I can't seem to find pictures of a complete deck for this model as it should be. Need help.

Let's see your view from your workplace "window". I know some are driving truck,or tractor, work in shops/offices or outdoors. What is it that surrounds you during your work day?

I've had some stuff laying around for a while now. I've had some ideas kicking around my head for a while as well.
Well they met each other a few days ago.
This is going to be a camp buggy of sorts.
Like any of my other builds I would appreciate any input anyone want to donate.

The base is an 1982-88 Yamaha G1 golf cart.

I started a thread a little while back "Something from Nothing". It has been upgraded to this thread because now I'm building something from something lol. I started with a new frame and strengthened the transaxle mount a bit.
