:bow-blue:Looking forward to see it move.

Just throwing more $&!T against the wall.

Since you plan to take it to the kid's ice fishing derby, it be cool to add a powered Ice auger attachment to run it around offering free holes?

An attachment as unique as the machine.

Pretty sure I have a hand crank ice auger, pulleys and a right angle gearbox to donate!

That would be really cool but I think the weight of this thing has increased beyond my initial design as it is unfortunately.

What are you projecting this thing weighs at this point?

On a side note, that made me think. If you needed MORE weight, would it be possible to fill the screw tanks with something? Would probably need to be a liquid though. Filling with concrete probably wouldn't be the best idea since you wouldn't be able to drain it after.

Remember the old timer drag cars? They would drill holes in EVERYTHING to lighten them up.

This stuff is easy spending someone else's time and effort! :laughing-rolling:

I’m thinking that lighter is better...? Float on top vs. sink and grab...?

Kind of like the ski hill snow cats grooming machines...

I'm thinking it's around 600lbs at the moment. I was basing the weight somewhere between the weight of my GT14 and my foreman 4 wheeler. So I'm figuring it is about topped out now.

Exactly. The whole idea is float on the snow because it wont be fast enough to just skip over it.

I could see lighter being good for something like snow and mud / muddy grass. What about Ice though? That's what I was considering when asking if more weight would be good.

After rolling the screws around on the cement floor a few times I would say bare ice is going to be less then perfect driving conditions

Maybe when @wallfish is done drilling holes, he can sharpen the 140 feet of screw edges?

Almost done with the first chain guard. Apreantly there is about 85ft or so of welding in a 10lb spool of mig wire, cause I'm out.  I guess I'm on a 3hr break till I can get any more.

@Oldskool it looks great.

Are you first try a testdrive or a Paintjob?

think i would prefer the Testdrive before some Paint will be on this built.

But however, i also be Curious about the Colorscheme you choosen.

Oh I'm painting. Go big or go home. Right? I've had a couple thoughts on the color scheme and changed my mind a few times.

Great to paint it do it once, and do it right. Now you have clean metal to paint on.

A snow camo had been tossed around but I'm not sure yet. The wheels are turning for sure though.

Hey guys I have been given a box of these flap wheels.
      5.25" x 1.5" with a 1" arbor hole.
I instantly thought great I can put one on my bench grinder.
      Nope!    Not that simple.
The arbor size is different, and it's to wide to fit inside the the guard.
I thought of removing the guard but would like to have it there.
I guess I could make an arbor adapter and a spacer for the guard, and a new tool rest, etc. More time involved then first thought.

Does anyone use these, and if so what do you have it on?

Hello fellas. I bought this 211-3 tractor. I have no clue how this mower deck comes off. I need to fix some areas on the deck, as well as replace a clutch cable. I can't seem to find pictures of a complete deck for this model as it should be. Need help.

Let's see your view from your workplace "window". I know some are driving truck,or tractor, work in shops/offices or outdoors. What is it that surrounds you during your work day?

I've had some stuff laying around for a while now. I've had some ideas kicking around my head for a while as well.
Well they met each other a few days ago.
This is going to be a camp buggy of sorts.
Like any of my other builds I would appreciate any input anyone want to donate.

The base is an 1982-88 Yamaha G1 golf cart.
