Just a WARNING. If you are using Super Glue, make sure you dont have ANY on your finger before you step out to take a leak.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just a quick thank you for not following your usual practice of including detailed pictures of your progress with each post... :scared-eek:

What's is like to have so many watching your every step?

And speaking of?  We're watching!  Your every step?  Next step?  Yes?

Gads I love this but it is in slow motion....

I'm sorry.   Just anxious...   I ordered some popcorn... Sorry, when you can... OK, I'm better now. Just show us something tomorrow.

Or when you can.  Crap!  No use!  Obviously I'm hooked....

Today was slow. Gathering parts and all. The 1 headlight took a while to do but just had to do one. Tomorrow the engine goes in and the wiring starts. Hope to have this thing up and running soon. Once all the bugs are out of the drivetrain  I will start on the screw drives themselves

This might be a good thread subject for the 'Bumps and Bruses' section?

So how did we accomplish this?

Where did the lense come from?

I started with a sealed push in type light. Using my 4.5in angle grinder I cut the lens off. Then trimmed and sanded the edge. I then placed that lens on top of the red lens and scored the shape with an awl. Again with the grinder I painstakingly cut the circle from the red lens. Filed and sanded to fit then Super glued it together. Taped off the clear lens then painted.

All that plastic had to go. It looked to modern and it just didnt fit very well "size wise". So older tin was put on. Changed over to an older style dip stick and changed the air filter style to something older as well. On to the exhaust. Although I'm not sure which way to go with this build. A stack? Salt & Pepper sbaker style muffler even though they are kinda loud. Or go low and long and run it out of the back?

It needs a stack. How about an aluminum baseball bat with the ends cut off.

In my head I'm about 60% stack, 40% low and out the back...

A stack would be easier I think. I can work better with steel then I can aluminum

Come off the engine with steel turn it up and fit the baseball bat in it.

A buddy had just stopped by. He heard what I was building. He said I needed a safety helmet.

Hey guys I have been given a box of these flap wheels.
      5.25" x 1.5" with a 1" arbor hole.
I instantly thought great I can put one on my bench grinder.
      Nope!    Not that simple.
The arbor size is different, and it's to wide to fit inside the the guard.
I thought of removing the guard but would like to have it there.
I guess I could make an arbor adapter and a spacer for the guard, and a new tool rest, etc. More time involved then first thought.

Does anyone use these, and if so what do you have it on?

Hello fellas. I bought this 211-3 tractor. I have no clue how this mower deck comes off. I need to fix some areas on the deck, as well as replace a clutch cable. I can't seem to find pictures of a complete deck for this model as it should be. Need help.

Let's see your view from your workplace "window". I know some are driving truck,or tractor, work in shops/offices or outdoors. What is it that surrounds you during your work day?

I've had some stuff laying around for a while now. I've had some ideas kicking around my head for a while as well.
Well they met each other a few days ago.
This is going to be a camp buggy of sorts.
Like any of my other builds I would appreciate any input anyone want to donate.

The base is an 1982-88 Yamaha G1 golf cart.
