Just saw you're from Maine.

Welcome to Redsquare!!

Couple other nutcases fairly close too.

@JCM Jim.

@Stepney Spenser.

@Oldskool is up a bit more north.

@WheelhorseBob is pretty close over in Rochester NH.

Maybe about time for an impromptu Meet n Greet at this Bear's place. .....

I do not just the yard. But shes getting a amber just cuz I think shes earned it. Plus I live on a blind turn, so the more noticable I am vs the plow truck the better.

Lovin that tall shoot. I spent month or so hunting down any blower I could get hands on after I got the horse. Found 1 about hr up north off a 416-8 for 250. Noobie me left the mount for the blower tube at there house was all excited to mount her up and o couldn't for the life of me figure out how. Lucky some research and a quick visit to E bay got what I needed.

The more lights the better! When it comes to a :wh: vs snow plow situation you need all the help you can get.              :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I see you run turf saver tires on your horse. Was just looking for some input on my AGs people say chains dont work well with them I was gonna get wheel weights and call it good. Think she'll bite?

Ain't likely. Need the metal to grab.

I run ags with chains and it does well.

You'd be fine.

Lemme know if you need chains and I'll what I got laying around.

Yeah I dont have any chains. Like said saw few mixed reviews on AGs and chains. So wasnt sure if wanted to invest in more stuff to collect dust.

I get snow in my face with the tall chute, I try to play the wind, but there are times you just have to take what Mother Nature hands you. I had a cab at one point, but being on the short side I couldn't see when I got up close to things. So I sold it. I'm on the lookout for a snowmobile helmet to see how that might work.

I've never been much of a cab guy myself but I'm also not much for a frozen beard. So it's a love hate relationship. The helmet is a good idea alot easier to put away at the end of the year too

I run chains on those turfs.  Lug tires the chain can in between the lugs and not work as well.

Think I might hunt down a set of rims and get a set of turf with chains for winter use.

I've got extra rims I'd give ya. Just come get 'em.

Tires are online all over the place.

I may even have chains but I'd have to look.

Nice light bar!  Having forward and rear mounted lights will surely help you, just make sure they are pointed as so to not get in the back of the snow shot... the reflection off the snow might hinder your actual sight.

      Need some help deciding on a brand of engine to buy for my 1054. (Needs to be a diesel 10 hp+) I’m refining used motor oil/cooking oil for fuel for it. So it will have to have an option to run used oil and diesel

      I purchased my 314-8 new in February of 1996.  It's been a great tractor.  But a few years ago I had landscaping done and contracted for lawn service.  So the tractor has been sitting in the garage for a few years.  Bought a new battery.  It cranks hard, but won't fire.  Probably needs the fuel lines or carburetor cleaned.  It also needs the clutch shock replaced.  I have the new shock and belt.  Just haven't gotten around to replacing them.  Deck is in excellent shape with new spindles before I parked it.  Comes with the nice pull behind spreader that has only been used twice.

      Thanks for you consideration.

      You know those people that have too many projects?? Yeah me neither!

      Another tractor added to the heard. Case International 585 with canopy/sunroof.
      It's a 60-ish horsepower tractor with very limited electronic gimmicks. Has a nice tight turning radius. It was built in Doncaster from 1985 to 1990 and the hourmeter says it has ran 4700 hours since then, I'll take that with a grain of salt though.

      Plan is to use it for all kinds of jobs around the house and barn/stable for my gf's horses.
      Ofcourse it is not a new machine so there are things that will need looking after but all the basics are there.
      Pictures you say? Sure!

      I have for sale a 1984 C-105 with deck and Snowblower. I got this as part of a package. There’s no battery and I haven’t tried to start it. I’m selling it as a project. The deck has one spindle out, but with it, as prior owner claims bearing was replaced. The snowblower has the flag and looks to be in very good condition. All but 1 tire holds air. The mower is complete. Includes mule drive. The extra hood (c-175) you see in the picture can go with the tractor for an additional $50. Thx for looking.

      Hi! The shafts of my fathers old 314-8, deck number 73449 have worn to the point the blades don’t stay secured. I’ve struck out tonight trying to find a part number. If anyone can assist, I would greatly appreciate it.

      thank you,
