Pullstart 63,096 #1 Posted October 16, 2020 I went to install Rebel’s hubs last night for a diesel flush run, but didn’t realize they are big moons. I thought they were square key stock. Is there a standardized moon key way size for the 953/1054/GT-14?

pfrederi 17,866 #5 Posted October 16, 2020 (edited) Gary types faster McMaster doesn't have them. Fastnal does. Edited October 16, 2020 by pfrederi 1
Pullstart 63,096 #6 Posted October 16, 2020 Yep, my local Fastenal wanted to charge me more than Fastenal.com, plus I’d have to drive 20 minutes to get it and no difference on delivery time. Order in! I’ll stick some baby key ways in to do a test drive / diesel flush though. I imagine a short amount of driving won’t harm a thing... though these axles are pitted and not so great. We’ll test drives didn’t last too long with a small 3 speed key... but it moves! I shredded a new belt for a while figuring all the small pedal adjustments... but it was enough to move the diesel around in the tranny. I figured I’d flush it even though it was supposedly rebuilt. pictures coming soon... in the Rebel thread.
