Jim O. Clark 0 #1 Posted October 11, 2020 Hi Members, Recently I acquired a CC low boy loader in great shape and was wondering if I could put it on my D250. The CC Low boy weighs 300 lbs more and it has a 9 inch wheel base not sure of the width of the two. Here are some images of the loader for you to take a look at. I would like to make this fit is it possible? thanks for your wisdom and thoughts, Jim
953 nut 55,099 #2 Posted October 11, 2020 The key to success when mounting a loader on any tractor is having a strong sub-frame that will distribute the added weight and forces to the axles preventing damage to your tractor's frame. A good subframe should extend from the front of the frame to beyond the rear axle and cary all of the attachment points for the loader.

If the Cub is significantly higher than the D250 you may need to compensate in the subframe so the bucket will be able to dig into the ground.
