ebinmaine 67,286 #1 Posted October 9, 2020 Hard to believe this was built way back in 1986. I always thought this was a bit of an odd looking truck because they went well away from the standard farm tractor huge tires. Wait till you see it with regular road tires for transport..... https://www.thedrive.com/news/36981/bigfoot-looks-extremely-goofy-on-regular-sized-tires

8ntruck 6,991 #4 Posted October 9, 2020 Is that version that had enough tire to float? It did run with dual on all 4 corners from time to time.

This tires/wheels combined weighed 2400 lbs EACH. I remember the older wider tire versions floated with duals very well but struggled with only 4 tires. roadapples 6,983 #6 Posted October 9, 2020 Saw it quite a few years ago at the 4x4 jamboree in Bloomsburg Pa. The girl I was going with at the time could stand up inside those wheels. And yes, she was out of school....
cschannuth 3,816 #7 Posted October 9, 2020 That’s the one that sits outside the BigFoot shop in the St. Louis area all the time. I don’t think it gets used for much except display. Also, that body is the 1992 - 1997 style (I only know because my old wood hauling truck is a 94) but I’m sure it was probably built in the 80s and the newer body was installed at a later date. I like the 70s dent side style better but I’m kinda partial to my aero nose ‘94 as well 1 1

I'll be looking for a crew cab of that style in 2 or 3 years.

I love my truck but my dream truck if I ordered it new back then would’ve been a crew cab, short bed, 4x4, 5 speed with the power stroke diesel. Now those trucks are starting to go for almost new prices. My wife found this one for sale 25 years ago sitting alongside the road. I was so shocked that she liked it we snatched it up once we agreed upon a price.
