snowhound 105 #1 Posted October 8, 2020 I have a single stage snowblower with a 32 inch auger that needs new skids. Does anyone know where I can get them? The model number faded from the plastic tag and is unreadable.
WHX?? 48,795 #2 Posted October 8, 2020 I would first check with parts tree or Toro. All later model singles should be the same. Might even be able to use generic universal ones. I don't have acess to my files at the moment but maybe oe of the others can helpout with a part number. Another alternative is to make some many of use have done that. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #4 Posted October 9, 2020 Wonder what model snowthrower this is? The early units for the long frame tractors had wheels instead of skids but skids could be added. I think the early 32" snowthrowers did not include the extension wings so were approx 38" wide. In 1986 the wheels were replaced by skids as standard equipment. midpack 862 #5 Posted October 9, 2020 I had one that I took the wheels off and put skids on. They might have been Toro, but most any replacement ones would work I think. Wasn't much different from wheels iirc
