There ya go!

Not sure what to do about the step contact. @pullstart @953 nutnut @Achto any thoughts?

As for the plow I connect mine to the hole in the pic.

We run a straight link down to the plow.

that gives down pressure when you press forward in the handle.

You can also run a piece of chain or half chain, half solid. Whatever works. ....

I run modern plow frames on two Charger/Electros.  Both are hydro lift so I do not want a solid link.  The set up uses a rod from lift to the plow.  You will have to modify the foot plate fro clearance of the angle arm.

Thanks for  the great pictures those will help a lot  I have a piece of 7/16  threaded rod that I think will work good also I like the idea of being able to push down on the lever to scrape the driveway a little better might make  it easier to go over where tire tracks are  ..

It most certainly does help.... Quite a lot. We have a gravel driveway and often it snows for much of the day before we can plow. Down pressure is VERY helpful.

Can't the arm for plow angle be turned around to clear the foot board :confusion-scratchheadyellow:

  No. Still won't cler.

The rod will NOT give you down pressure.

The rod slides up through the trunion.  I have hydros you do not want a fixed connection, WH hydro lift valves do not have a float position.

If you build the link that I gave dimensions for you should have what you need for down pressure

now I'm confused,  what has the pivot rod got to do with down pressure?

2 topics in one discussion. Downpressure (lift rod, link, chain) and angle lever hitting the foot (tootsie) board. :)

Exactly what I was thinking, would turning the pivot rod around clear the footboard.  Down pressure comes from the implement rod, correct :confusion-shrug:

Lever would still hit. Just on a different spot. I had this same issue on one tractor. I would take the footboard off and install a stirrup every winter. :banana-wrench:

I use a small lift shackle on my chain , made for that use, also notice the gap on the mount point pin hole to inside stop ? fill that with washers ,and LUBRICATE IT  , it increases function ease and use. look up plow mounting pictures on this site for more ideas, pete

I think this is going to work the blade should float a little and the angle lever goes into the notch I cut out doesn’t look bad either if u cut it right
