Cetan08 311 #1 Posted September 28, 2020 Our RC club picked up a Ferris 61" front mount mower. It has the Eaton 850 transaxle. Starts out good but loses speed after a few runs. As it gets warm it eventually stops pulling all together. Parts are no longer available and a new Eaton 851 is $3000.00. I need to fix this mower. Is there a repair anyone has come up with or a transaxle that can be fabricated to work in it? I have changed the fluid and filter, replaced belt and checked adjustments.
