WheelhorseBob 1,549 #1 Posted September 27, 2020 (edited) Picked up a second 37” deck to restore awhile ago. It was basically free when you consider the high lift blades it came with are decent. I have a 37” deck and bagger on my 310-8 that has been my fall leaf eat for years. That deck is great except the front is chewed to pieces from the original owner. This deck will get sandblasted welded and reinforced in the front. I really like these 37” bagger arrangements for my purposes. They are simple and work really well. The new to me two bag bagger will be nice I think compared to my early one bag unit currently on the 310-8. WheelhorseBob 1,549 #2 Posted October 1, 2020 Sandblasted primed and ready for weld repairs/reinforcements to the right hanger and front.
clueless 2,976 #3 Posted October 3, 2020 That right front hanger is almost always creaked on every 37 sd I'v seen. Check the other three mounting brackets they tend to have small hair line cracks also especially the back right if the front right is cracked as much as yours.
WheelhorseBob 1,549 #4 Posted June 3, 2021 Been a while since I tore this apart but I decided the time was right today to finally finish it! Lots of welding of stress cracks and a front repair where the blade chewed it a bit. All that I need now is one pulley but at 60 bucks from toro I’ll have to figure something out! Picture is of bad pulley.

elcamino/wheelhorse 9,297 #6 Posted June 4, 2021 @WheelhorseBob Is that a V or a flat pulley ?
WheelhorseBob 1,549 #7 Posted June 4, 2021 It is a v pulley. This deck and mule drive uses the 6 sided belt. The pulley measure 4.25 inches OD and has a 6203D bearing which is close to 11/16. It has a shoulder insert that I’ll try to press out. I just went to tractor supply and found two pulleys that I thought might work but the 6203 bearings in them measured 5/8”. The even say 5/8” o. Them. Strange.
