The Tuul Crib 7,337 #1 Posted September 27, 2020 Just about to wrap up the project and get the motor started. Been pushing it in and out of the shop without any fluid in the transmission. Should I fill it now or can I wait till I start it? Will it hurt the transmission to do that?
pfrederi 17,866 #2 Posted September 27, 2020 (edited) Yes put fluid in it. You are spinning the hydro motor when you push it not to mention the shaft in the transaxle and it bearings. Hope you prelubed things. Edited September 27, 2020 by pfrederi
ebinmaine 68,330 #3 Posted September 27, 2020 ALL the hydraulics in my past MUST have fluid in them when turning.
