Hi all will be looking at one of these  machines it's running and has a kohler 12 hp it seems that availability of parts maybe an issue, any input would be appreciated.

Hydro or standard?
The reversing gear box on the standard models can be troublesome, the hydros were alright mostly.. long as they were maintained.
PTO parts electric or manual are both scarce. Pretty much no aftermarket support for these rigs, which is a shame.. Not much to know otherwise, the K is a great engine and they really had no other faults as a tractor..

The implements however leave a lot to be desired..

The most all of the Kohler engine parts. That would be about it.

Jake built the Fords, Olivers, .. some name that was orange which I forget, and MinniMo's so yes, basically everything except the paint and a few trim pieces were interchangeable .. long as they were the same year/style.

The engine is a narrow pan usually so even the block is not the same as a WH, its like the style used in an IH Cub Cadet.
